Description:
The Old Edwards Inn, Spa, and Farm is a 5 star resort complex located in Highlands, North Carolina.  The Pesterfield Group was the lead Civil Engineering and Land Surveying services provider for this project.  The project encompassed 2 city blocks.  We coordinated the architectural work provided by Summerhours Architects located in Atlanta, GA. 

Attention to detail was a priority to ensure that the facility would meet the 5 star rating requirements. The project was heavily landscaped, making the grading, storm drainage and utility network more complicated.  Public work-shopping, coordination and negotiations with the town commissioners and planning board was extensive and successful.
